Il Desco Bistrot is a restaurant in Florence that offers an innovative tuscan cuisine using farm-to-table organic products, in order to provide exclusively fresh and seasonal menus, unique in flavour and taste, turning every course into an authentic and innovative gourmet dish.
We use only Tuscan extra virgin olive oil from our farm, we serve mother dough bread, we personally select small local producers who we know well, in order to guarantee the quality and authenticity of all the products that you can taste in our bistro, including Tuscan wines and artisanal beers. We never use frozen or chemically preserved food in our recipes.
On our farm “Podere La Croce”, in Reggello, a town near Florence, we pick vegetables everyday in our organic vegetable garden certified by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification) and we bring them to the restaurant where our chef turns them into creative dishes.
Every year, small and special producers offer unique flavours, from the Chianti Rufina Bio to the Nobile di Montepulciano, from the white wheat beer, to the IPA of the Mugello valley, providing a unique experience with every sip.
At Il Desco of Florence you can also purchase bottles of organic extra virgin olive oil of superior quality, produced on our La Croce farm, as well an exclusive selection of wines and beers from the best local producers.
